As I look back on this incredible year, my heart is full of gratitude and pride for what we, as one NAITAS family, have achieved together.
2025 has truly been a year of movement, meaning, and milestones. We began strong with “Takbo Para sa Turismo 2025” — a symbolic run that united travel professionals, partners, and tourism advocates in support of our local destinations. It was more than just a race; it was a celebration of our shared passion for tourism and our collective drive to make a difference.
Throughout the year, our General Membership and Business Meetings (GMBMs) brought our members together in fellowship, learning, and collaboration across the country:
- In Makati, our 1st GMBM at The Alpha Suites highlighted “Travel & Trade Convergence”, where we strengthened the vital link between tourism and trade, supported by both DTI & DOT.
- Our 2nd GMBM in Tanay, Rizal, themed “Aligning Local Destinations with Emerging Travel Trends,” deepened our partnership with local communities and featured a memorable Tiangge Experience in Taytay that showcased Filipino creativity and enterprise.
- The 3rd GMBM in Davao, “Halal at Habi, Halina sa Davao,” allowed us to embrace Mindanao’s vibrant culture and celebrate halal tourism.
- We will soon cap the year with our 4th GMBM and Year-End Awards Night at Edsa Shangri-La, Ortigas — a fitting celebration of excellence, unity, and the spirit of service that defines NAITAS.
This year also marked a proud international moment for NAITAS. Our Leadership Team, joined by some members, traveled to Osaka, Japan to support the Philippine Pavilion and represent our country in the global tourism arena. During our visit, we also had the privilege of meeting with the Philippine Consulate in Osaka, where we shared a wonderful conversation about strengthening tourism partnerships and promoting the Philippines as a world-class destination.
The celebration doesn’t stop there. On December 6–7, we proudly present NTEX 2025 – The NAITAS Travel & Trade Expo at SM Megamall Trade Halls, with the theme “EcoPasko: Celebrating Green Tourism.” This will be our biggest and most meaningful expo yet, on its 10th year— shining the spotlight on sustainability and the bright future of eco-conscious travel.
As we turn the page to 2026, there is so much more to look forward to. NAITAS will continue to bring opportunities for learning, connection, and adventure through our upcoming GMBMs and familiarization trips to Cebu, Bicol, Bacolod, and many more exciting destinations. Each gathering will be another chance to grow, collaborate, and celebrate our shared love for travel and the Philippines.
To every member, partner, and friend who has journeyed with us — thank you. Your trust, energy, and passion fuel everything we do. Together, we are not just rebuilding tourism — we are reimagining it with purpose, heart, and hope.
Here’s to another year of meaningful travels and stronger connections. See you all at NTEX and in all our adventures ahead!
