The National Association of Independent Travel Agencies (NAITAS) represents independent travel and tour agencies across the Philippines, providing a platform that supports the growth and professionalism of the travel industry.

Through collaboration among travel professionals and partnerships with the Department of Tourism, NAITAS promotes ethical tourism practices, addresses industry concerns, and contributes to the development of Philippine tourism.

By offering networking opportunities, training programs, marketing support, and national events such as the NAITAS Travel Show, NAITAS empowers its members while helping showcase the Philippines as a premier travel destination.

To unite and empower independent travel and tour agencies across the Philippines by fostering a collaborative community that promotes ethical and sustainable tourism, strengthens industry standards, and supports the growth and development of Philippine tourism.

History

The National Association of Independent Travel Agencies (NAITAS) is the Philippines’ premier non-profit organization representing independent, non-IATA travel agencies. Established in 1986 and headquartered in Makati City, it unites travel professionals to promote tourism, support industry development, and provide training and professional growth opportunities for its members. With 17 chapters nationwide, NAITAS fosters collaboration among travel agencies, strengthens industry partnerships, and serves as a collective voice advocating for the growth, sustainability, and resilience of the Philippine travel and tourism sector.
